Today while I was working, I left open a browser tab in background on the Robin Good’s YouTube channel, that I follow with interest and admiration.
In one of his videos there’s Spataro from Civile.it [italian] that suggests and explains [italian] usefulness to insert terms and conditions page and privacy policy page in your own web site [professional or amateur].
That’s a good idea because, as Spataro notes, it’s important to give a good internet experience to your user assuring him politeness. On the other hand in the terms and conditions page you can explain to the user what are your rules that he must follow to have a good internet experience.
Again Spataro notes how is usefull to link to the third parties disclaimers if you use third party service on your web site. For example I use Google Analytics on my web portfolio [www.sidneysacchi.net] and here on the blog to get stats about visits and page views. That’s why I’ve added in privacy page a Google Analytics disclaimer.
Thanks again to Robin Good for his video, to Spataro from Civile.it for the information about privacy and legal topics on a web site, and you for reading.
Used resouces for compiling Privacy, Terms and conditions pages:
I hope this post helps you. If you’ve any suggestions to improve my pages please send me a comment or an email and I’ll modify the contents, thank you.
If I had violated some rule of the above sites in any way, please contact me and I’ll modify/erase the violated content.
I finally made the decision not to procrastinate further and I published my portfolio site: www.sidneysacchi.net.
In confirmation of this choice I made this little intro that I posted on my new youtube channel
I hope you like it
Same time I started to create hope through social network connections by asking two most common questions:
What are the most popular social network?
What social networks do I choose?
The answers of the moment I found around the net foreign sites like Smashing Magazine and Italian sites such as the greats MasterNewMedia by Robin Good and Juliusdesign by Giuliano Ambrosio.
I hope they are good choices, otherwise I will change and I will update.
Since yesterday I could go online but I was putting up more details:
The Facebook page, where I wanted to post information, images and video portfolio.
Luckily I managed with Pazera Free to convert MP4 to AVI or FLV to AVI and Facebook has finally accepted formats.
I wanted to dedicate further attention to the plugin I installed on my WordPress site to make smartphone navigation easier by changing the theme as soon as the mobile device is recognized. After several attempts I consider the most appropriate WpTouch, because I plan to change the graphic template to give personal touch to the theme and the layout.
So, I say WELCOME again, hoping to be constant in this project so it can be a resource for users.
